Sunday Cookie Swap

Today, my family had a cookie swap. Lots of different cookies were brought. Everyone took a bunch home. Many of them were eating. It was fun and good to see everyone before the holidays.

Saturday

Holidays

Well, it's the weekend. It is now crunch time for the holidays. Christmas is just around the corner...
We were at the mall last night., just to eat. The restaurant wasn't crowded.That's good since other places looked packed. We were only in the to come and go. It didn't seem overly crowded. Years ago it would be packed with people. Perhaps I am comparing a Friday night with a Saturday? It could be that people are waiting to the last minute. That means next weekend could be a busy one for the mall. Time will tell to see what this weekend brings...
Last Sunday, we got to go on The Spirit of Philadelphia for a dinner cruise. I have some photos on my site.

Next weekend my family is having a cookie swap. This should be fun. I hope I manage to make some good cookies. I think will take some photos of them.

Weekend

Last weekend, I managed to take photos at The John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge.  Who would think you would see some of these birds in Philadelphia? I'm hoping come springtime there will be some baby birds to see time will tell.

Weekend Activities

The weekend is here.It's Saturday, I survived Black Friday at work. On to Saturday! It's a bit gloomy out. Hopefully, it won't rain because we will be going to see a tree lighting ceremony in our neighborhood. I wasn't aware that they had one. I'm looking forward to it and I hope to get some nice holiday pictures tonight. Happy Saturday!

Holidays

We'll we're starting to get into the thick of it now. Both of us have been busy with work and it's made us tired. We decided to take it easy, so we gave out candy on Halloween. Actually, this is enjoyable because you get to see kids in their costumes enjoying themselves. Our cats got out but it was a little scary for Tiki and he went inside.  DC wouldn't come in as usual.He tends to get trapped in a car business near us and we have to convince him to come out. After last time when my husband had to get DC we decided not to let them out. I eventually got him last night after a few tries. He was hanging out by our house but I didn't want him to venture out any further.
Today, we have two parties. My husband has an errand to run tomorrow, so later on we might do something or have a relaxing day at home.

Sunday

Well, the weekend is here. I'm wondering what we can squeeze in after we are both done work. Maybe we'll just relax. Looks like Sunday could be a possible day to do some stuff. Would going to see a live butterfly exhibit be one of the choices?
